St. Mark's Basketball Program (Grades 5–6)

St. Mark's offers a developmental basketball program for students in grades 5–6 that focuses on skill building, teamwork, and good sportsmanship in a supportive, non-competitive environment. This program is designed to help students learn the fundamentals of basketball while growing in confidence and respect for others.

The girls' season runs from October through November, and the boys' season runs from January through February. Practices are held on weekdays at St. Mark's School and are led by staff members and parent volunteers. All students are welcome to participate, regardless of prior experience or skill level. Games are played after school at St. Joe's or other north Boise schools.

Idaho Catholic School Invitational (ICSI)

Students in grades 3–6 are eligible to participate in the Idaho Catholic School Invitational (ICSI), a competitive basketball tournament held each March at Bishop Kelly High School and local gyms. This well-organized tournament brings together Catholic school teams from across Idaho and provides students with a positive, faith-centered competitive experience. The tournament begins on Friday afternoon and concludes with championship games on Sunday.

Hallissey Basketball Tournament (Grades 7–8)

Students in grades 7–8 participate in the annual Hallissey Basketball Tournament, a state-wide competition typically held over the last weekend of February in Boise. Games are primarily played at St. Joseph's with championship games hosted at Bishop Kelly High School. This tournament offers students an opportunity to further develop athletic skills, teamwork, and leadership in a competitive setting.
