Measuring Our Success

At St. Mark's School, we believe strong communication between home and school supports student success. Teachers share each child's progress through report cards and ongoing communication throughout the year. Parents can view current grades at any time through FACTS. Teachers also connect with families by email and phone to celebrate successes, address concerns, and support each student's growth. Student work and portfolios are shared regularly so parents can see the learning happening in the classroom.

Student learning is measured using a variety of tools, including:

  • Classroom assessments
  • Diocesan-required standardized tests such as MAP
  • State of Idaho assessments

Teachers and administrators review assessment data at the beginning and end of each school year to understand student growth and strengthen instruction.

The goal is to continually support each child's needs and guide effective teaching and learning.
